Georgian Bay's Historic Resort Destination Will Attend World's Largest Snowmobile, ATV and Powersport Show at Toronto's International Centre

MIDLAND, Ontario, Oct. 26, 2004 -- Georgian Bay Tourism partners will be offering their special winter rates and packages at the Snowmobile, ATV and Powersport Show October 29th, 30th, 31st, 2004 at Toronto's International Convention Centre. Overnight rates for rooms in Midland including breakfast start at $79.00 per night, or for a package including dinner $79.50 per person per night, plus taxes and gratuities.

The Midland-Penetanguishene-Lafontaine area offers more than 150 km of snowmobile trails groomed and maintained by the Georgian Bay Snowriders, members of the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs.

The Best Western Highlands Inn & Conference Centre in Midland is located on Top Trail C, and offers electrical hookups for trucks, well-lit snowmobile parking, trail maps and O.F.S.C. trail permits for sale. Package prices start at $51.50 per person including a full breakfast and $79.50 per person including dinner in "The Pines" dining room.

The Midland Comfort Inn provides accommodation starting at $79.00 and $99.00 per night.

Trails in the area provide a variety of straight and twisting trails through forests of white and red pines that have made the Georgian Bay area famous. Riders wanting a quick warm-up are invited to stop at the Lafontaine Maple Valley Club and the roaring fireplace that is always welcoming.
