Volvo to Launch SIRIUS Satellite Radio on Four Vehicles Lines

NEW YORK, Oct. 26, 2004 -- SIRIUS , the premium satellite radio provider known for delivering the very best in commercial-free music and sports programming to cars and homes across the country, today announced that SIRIUS is expected to be available in early January 2005 as a retailer-installed accessory in the following 2005 model year Volvo Cars. (Note to editors: Volvo refers to their dealers as retailers.)

These Volvo vehicles will have factory-equipped radios that display artist, song title and category when playing SIRIUS. To facilitate retailer kit installations, Volvo will also offer a pre-wire solution as a factory installed option. To obtain SIRIUS service, the retailer must install a tuner and antenna. Pricing will be announced at a later date.

SIRIUS provides listeners with 65 channels of 100% commercial-free music as well as over 55 channels of news, sports, weather, traffic information, original entertainment and call-in talk shows, all for the great value of $12.95 a month, with no added premiums, and discounts for advance payments of one-year or more.
