Automotive Capital Group, Inc. Initiates Distributor Program for Its Navicom GPS Products
Over 400 Prospective Resellers and Distributors Have Signed Up
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Oct. 20 -- Automotive Capital Group, Inc. announced today in an effort to continue growth it is now interviewing prospective distributors for its Navicom GPS tracking system. The company has seen significant interest from potential resellers and distributors of Navicom products and services. Resellers will sell GPS units that can be installed into vehicles, trucking rigs, heavy machinery, as well as the portable unit, which is battery powered for up to 14 days. Resellers will also sell monthly service plans similar to the cell phone industry.
In the approximately 30 days since Navicom was acquired by Automotive Capital Group, Inc. the company has increased the number of units in operation by almost 40%. This response illustrates the increased market demand for GPS tracking systems for both commercial and personal use. Navicom's GPS tracking system works in 98% of the US, Canada and Mexico and has a much larger range than the competition. "Experience plays an important role in choosing a distributor. Because of this, each application will be examined thoroughly before approval," said Scott Miller, CEO of Automotive Capital Group, Inc.
Navicom is positioned to take advantage of growing interest in GPS applications. Applications range from personal and business use to homeland security. Unlike competitors in this market, Navicom is accessed through the Internet to view a vehicle's location, speed, direction, reports, perimeter notification, and disable/enable the car starter. The use of GPS tracking technology is generally thought of as security but many businesses are finding it useful to cut fuel and overtime costs. Through a computer, users can access Navicom to find exactly where their company vehicles are at any given moment. Navicom makes dispatch more efficient, saving money and peace of mind.
Automotive Capital Group, Inc. also announced that Navicom wireless GPS technology will be included in the inaugural issue of "Homeland Security - 2004," the official publication of the Homeland Security Industry and U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
