Professional Racing/Performance Driving School Now Based in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 19 -- Announcing the opening of the Don Swanson Racing School.

This is an invitation to Southern California journalists to come learn more about the school and ride/drive on Media Day, October 28. RSVP by October 25.

Cooped up executives, corporate groups and aspiring racing drivers now have a home for speed thrills in Southern California!

   WHAT:      A dynamic, transportable racing/performance driving school for
              men and woman.  San Diego has never had a road racing facility
              or a professional racing school until now.  Don Swanson
              presents the Don Swanson Racing School which utilizes large
              parking lots to conduct events on.  They offer a variety of
              programs ranging in price for corporate groups, client/worker
              entertainment, individuals, private sessions and more.

   WHERE:     The Don Swanson Racing School is a completely mobile operation
              that uses a beautiful 75' 18 wheeler to transport 4 race
              prepared Honda TTR Coupes to all events.  Our base location is
              at the San Diego Sports Arena but events can be set up in any
              large parking lots or actual racing tracks.

   WHY:       Southern California is the automotive enthusiast Capital of
              the World and motorsports is the most popular sport in the
              World.  Many people want to learn to race or at least
              experience the thrill of racing even if for only a day!  This
              is the ultimate adrenaline rush.  The school teaches
              professional racing/driving skills through comprehensive hands
              on training.  $795 for a full day provides students with a
              priceless awareness of driving techniques and vehicle dynamics
              that can be used on the track or in every day driving.
              Because the school is San Diego based, participants living in
              San Diego, Orange County or Los Angeles no longer have to pay
              for air travel, hotel and rental car to enroll in driving
              schools in other states.

   WHO:       The school was founded by racing veteran Don Swanson who has
              raced since he was 9 years old.  He is a professional racing
              driver, test driver and long time racing instructor that has
              driven in numerous types of race cars and venues including the
              Long Beach Grand Prix!
