Delphi Brings Expanded Line of Entertainment Products for the Consumer Market to Convergence 2004

Line Up led by new Delphi XM SKYFi2, hitting stores in 2 weeks

DETROIT, Oct. 18 -- Delphi Corp. today announced the Delphi XM SKYFi2 satellite radio receiver would be available at retailers by the end of October. Delphi will display SKYFi2 along with its expanded line of entertainment products for the consumer market, at this year's Convergence 2004 at the Cobo Conference/Exhibition Center, today through Oct. 20th.

In addition to the SKYFi2, Delphi's consumer offerings include the Delphi XM Roady2 satellite radio and accessories for the home, vehicle, office and remote locations. Delphi also offers rear-seat entertainment systems, including the new Delphi DVDM-1020 mobile video unit, featuring a new 10.2- inch widescreen with an integrated DVD player.

The Delphi XM SKYFi2 features the first-ever "pause" and "replay" functions for satellite radio. Using leading edge technology, the "30 Minute Replay" function continuously and automatically saves the last 30 minutes of programming -- including programming from multiple XM channels. In addition, listeners can pause the program they are listening to with the option to playback that programming within 30 minutes. The unit also has a built-in wireless FM modulator, personalized stock ticker, personalized sports scores, a clock, TuneSelect by song and artist and much more.

"The Delphi XM SKYFi was first displayed publicly at Convergence 2002," said Francisco A. (Frank) Ordonez, president, Delphi Product & Service Solutions and vice president, Delphi Corporation. "Since then, SKYFi has become the best selling satellite radio ever and Delphi is recognized for bringing the latest in entertainment products to the consumer market."

The Delphi XM Roady2, also on display at Convergence, is on average four- times smaller than competing plug-and-play models on the market and features the smallest satellite radio antenna available. The unit has a built-in wireless FM adaptor for easy connection to any vehicle in minutes. Roady2 was the industry's first satellite radio receiver capable of displaying up to 20 customized stock quotes simultaneous with XM's 120 digital radio channels of commercial-free music and premier news, sports, and talk radio.

In addition, Delphi will have on hand the Delphi CD Audio System -- an "all in one" portable unit with a CD/CDR/MP3 player, AM/FM tuner and a docking station for the SKYFi satellite radio receiver. Delphi's portfolio also includes the SKYFi Audio System, a completely portable "boom-box" with a self- contained set of speakers, capable of running on batteries or with an A/C Adaptor.

The Delphi mobile video units play DVDs, VCDs, CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs and MP3 formatted CDs to satisfy the entertainment needs of today's rear-seat passengers. The DVDM-1020, with its sleek design, small footprint and low profile, comes standard with two wireless headphones, anti-shock system, auto dimming, and a flip up/down damper mechanism that allows smooth release of the monitor panel to the user's pre-set angle. In addition, the integrated DVD player has last position memory function. Also available is the DVDM-800, featuring a slightly smaller 8-inch widescreen monitor.

Delphi is the leading manufacturer of satellite radios, selling more than 3 million OE and retail models. Delphi has a broad portfolio of products to answer a wide variety of information and entertainment needs.
