Additional Bosch Executives to Give Technical Presentations
WHAT: Franz Fehrenbach, chairman of the Board of Management, Bosch Group, will give a keynote address at 8:30 a.m. in Room W1-52. Fehrenbach will discuss the challenges the industry faces to master complexity, increase quality and achieve common standards to ensure the successful future of automotive electronics.
TECHNICAL PRESENTATIONS: In addition, Bosch representatives will be speaking on a range of topics Wednesday, Oct. 20:
* Edwin Liebemann, vice president, product management/advanced engineering, chassis systems, will present a paper on Electronic Stability Control (ESC) at 9:00 a.m. in Room O2-33;
* Karsten Hummel, senior vice president, diesel engineering, will discuss high technology electronic diesel injection systems for light vehicles at 9:00 a.m. in Room O3-45;
* Reiner Emig, senior vice president, electronic systems, and Bob Rivard, vice president, advanced technology and product marketing, are chairing the session titled "Digital Driving Increases Consumer Value" at 2:30 p.m. in Room O3-45; and,
* Rainer Kallenbach, executive vice president, engineering, and Reiner Emig, senior vice president, electronic systems, will offer insight on why automotive electronics are advancing at a slower rate than consumer products at 2:30 p.m. in Room O2-33.
