FleetPride Announces 100th FleetCare Affiliate

THE WOODLANDS, Texas, Oct. 12, 2004 -- FleetPride, Inc., the nation's largest independent aftermarket distributor of heavy-duty truck parts, today announced the addition of the 100th FleetCare Truck Service Center affiliate.

Just over one year ago, FleetCare was introduced at the ITS Show in Las Vegas. Today, there are over 100 affiliated, independently owned FleetCare Truck Service Center members in the network. FleetPride now has network members in 29 states from the east coast to the west coast. As FleetCare's numbers grow, the program strengthens and becomes more valuable to the affiliate customers and fleets across the country. "Many of FleetPride's national fleet customers are taking notice of our success. In fact, several have asked us to develop a program where the FleetCare Truck Service network would provide service for their vehicles," said Chris Romeis, director of new business development.

Tony's Diesel Inc., Boonville, Missouri, was signed up on September 2, 2004, bringing the FleetCare Program to 100 affiliates. The FleetCare network consists of independently owned, heavy-duty repair shops performing repairs on all makes and models of heavy truck and trailer. The FleetCare program only recruits shops with outstanding reputations for performing quality repairs and customer service. In addition, FleetPride requires that each FleetCare affiliate have the vision and commitment needed to maintain and enhance the professionalism and technical capability of the independent heavy duty repair service provider.
