Pasha Receives 2004 Honda Premier Partner Award

CORTE MADERA, Calif.--Oct. 7, 2004--The Pasha Group's distribution services division has been awarded the prestigious 2004 Honda Premier Partner Award in recognition of its exceptional service. Pasha provides American Honda with port operations, inland distribution and quality assurance programs. This is the third time since 1999 Pasha has been recognized as a Premier Partner.

Premier Partner Award winners represent industries ranging from Internet consulting and management consulting to customer care and transportation. The Awards were established in 1998 to recognize suppliers who embrace American Honda's philosophy of meeting and exceeding customer expectations. The 2004 award was given to Pasha's Distribution Services unit (PDS) at Honda's Premier Partner Award event in July 2004.

Jean Anne, a 579-foot roll-on/roll-off, Pure Car and Truck Carrier ship at VT Halter Marine in Pascagoula, Miss. The M.V. Jean Anne is the first vessel of its kind to be built in the United States and is expected to be in service in the first quarter of 2005 with fortnightly service from the West Coast to Hawaii. Pasha Hawaii Transport Lines is a joint venture of Corte Madera-based The Pasha Group and Stamford, Conn.-based Strong Vessel Operators.
