BP International Announces a $67,000 Contract to Build Shade Structures at Louisiana Auto Dealership

FLORIDA--Oct. 7, 2004--BP International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BPIL), a leading manufacturer of fabric architecture shade structures and tennis court and athletic field equipment, announces a $67,000 contract to build several ShadeZone(R) fabric structures at Moffitt Volkswagen, Inc. in Bossier City, LA.

"At BP International, we've spent a lot of time anticipating trends and positioning ourselves to take advantage of them," said Larry Ball, BP International CEO. "Our ability to successfully do that has been a major factor in our growth over the years. For example, in 2001 we recognized that schools and parks were going to have to shade their playgrounds. We positioned ourselves in that market so that now we are building playground shelters all over the United States, and in several other countries.

"Concurrently, we've been watching the automotive market very closely, recognizing the onset of another major trend -- covered parking structures at auto dealerships to prevent hail and UV damage, and to keep the cars cool. I have been strategically maneuvering this company to a place where we can be a major player in that very large, very lucrative market. This job, although the booking is for a relatively conservative amount, is the first of several. It's the next logical step for BP International -- moving into a market where the average booking is six figures, with many jobs going into seven and even eight digits. That's where we are headed with our Shadezone(R) division."

The ShadeZone(R) structures for Moffit Volkswagen, which also sells Porsche, Mazda and Audi, will shade 45 parking spaces and create almost 1,000 square feet of shade next to the main showroom.
