Toyota Announces Parts & Services Promotion: 'Take 2 Movie Ticket Giveaway'

TORRANCE, Calif., Oct. 4 -- Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. Inc., (TMS) today announced its "Take 2 Movie Ticket Giveaway," which commenced Oct. 1 and runs through Oct. 31, 2004. When customers spend at least $20 in parts or service at participating Toyota dealerships, they can receive two complimentary movie tickets redeemable at over 40,000 theatres.

"TAKE 2" is TMS' way of showing appreciation to returning customers and encouraging vehicle maintenance.

Previous TMS Parts & Service promotions included a free gas sweepstakes in May 2004, which resulted in record-breaking Toyota parts and service sales. The movie ticket giveaway is the Parts & Service group's first gift-with-purchase promotion to date.

"We are thanking our dealership parts and service customers, while at the same time raising awareness for proper routine maintenance of their vehicles," said Dave Camden, TMS vice president, dealer operations, Toyota Customer Services.

Designed to build customer relationships at dealerships and foster customer loyalty, "TAKE 2" utilizes advertising via direct mail, e-mail, and online at www.toyota.com/owners.

Online visitors are directed to a special-promotion mini-site to find their nearest participating dealer, download coupons for service offers, and download rebate forms.

These forms will also be available at dealerships, which will display numerous point-of-purchase materials promoting the giveaway.

To receive the movie tickets, customers are required to complete and mail a rebate form, along with their Toyota dealership parts or service receipt to "TAKE 2" Headquarters in Chino, Calif. To locate participating theatres, visit www.moviecash.com.
