IEC Reports Strong Registration for Inaugural Euro DesignCon Conference in Munich, Germany
CHICAGO--Oct. 4, 2004--The International Engineering Consortium (IEC) today announced strong registration for its first-ever European event dedicated to engineers in the electronic-design and semiconductor industries.Euro DesignCon, which is presented by the IEC, will take place 11-14 October 2004 in Munich, Germany. The educational conference and technology exhibition is officially sponsored by Infineon Technologies.
Euro DesignCon is modeled after its North American counterpart, DesignCon, the premier design engineering event in Silicon Valley, California. Euro DesignCon, like its American cousin, will place a strong emphasis on practical design solutions affecting European engineers, combined with a 30-company exhibition of the industry's latest technology.
"Interest in this event has been very strong because it's designed by engineers for engineers," said John Janowiak, IEC Senior Director. "This multi-faceted educational forum provides in-depth solutions, which can be implemented immediately, to the most challenging design issues facing today's engineers."
Euro DesignCon offers focused educational tracks, keynote addresses from industry leaders, informative plenary and conference panels, and the DesignCon Paper Awards, which recognize outstanding contributions to the educational goals of the conference.
Registration fees for the event range from EUR 100 up. The best value offers complete access to all conference activities on all four days of the conference. Priced at EUR 495, it includes entrance to all technical sessions, TecForum tutorials, complimentary programming, and the bustling technology exhibition.
