Subaru Reports September Sales; Total Sales Up 18 Percent From Last Year
CHERRY HILL, N.J., Oct. 1, 2004 -- Subaru of America, Inc. today reported total sales for September of 15,843 units. This total represents a year-over-year increase of 18 percent.
"We are encouraged with this month's sales momentum," said Fred Adcock, executive vice president, Subaru of America, Inc. "The all-new redesigned Legacy and Outback have been well received in the market, and we are on track to set another all-time record year in 2004."
The Legacy model line recorded 7,724 units, while the Subaru Outback recorded sales of 5,254 units for the month. Subaru Forester posted 4,540 units in August. The Impreza line recorded 2,990 unit sales, while Subaru Baja recorded sales of 589 units for the month.
