Goodin Promoted to Head Supply Chain Management at Sequa's ARC Automotive Unit
NEW YORK--Sept. 30, 2004--Michael E. Goodin has been promoted to vice president, supply chain management at ARC Automotive, a subsidiary of Sequa Corporation , headquartered in Knoxville, TN.In his new position, Goodin, 51, assumes responsibility for ARC's worldwide purchasing activities and will continue to support the company's ongoing operational excellence (OPEX) and strategic deployment (SD) initiatives.
Goodin has more than 30 years experience in automotive component manufacturing. He joined ARC in 1998 as a project director, providing support to manufacturing and production start up, as well as purchasing and supplier development, and OPEX and SD. Previously, Goodin spent 25 years with the safety restraints division of Allied Signal.
ARC Automotive is a manufacturer of inflators for automotive airbags, including compact inflators for driver and passenger side airbags and inflators for side impact and curtain models.
