Convergence 2004, the world's premier automotive electronics conference, is hosted and organized by Ford Motor Company. Dr. Gerhard Schmidt, vice president of Research and Advanced Engineering at Ford is Convergence 2004 chairman.
This year's conference features 15 technical sessions and 86 white-paper presentations by automotive and electronic industry leaders expanding on the theme, "Vehicle Electronics to Digital Mobility: The Next Generation of Convergence."
In addition, the conference will have more than 190 exhibits from the world's top automotive and electronics companies. Convergence 2004 organizers expect more than 9,000 attendees as the conference celebrates its 30 anniversary. A power-packed lineup of keynote speakers is also included.
