Audi Black Enterprise Jazz Festival Heats Up Houston

Concerts at Verizon Wireless Theater on October 2

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Sept. 28 -- Five celebrated acts, two versatile stages, and one unique event will fill downtown Houston with the melodious sounds of smooth jazz on Saturday, October 2, 2004. Audi of America, Inc. has partnered with Black Enterprise Magazine, the premier business news source for African Americans, to deliver this exciting day of entertainment.

The Audi Black Enterprise Jazz Festival will feature continuous performances by KEM, Joe Sample Trio, Chris Dave/Robert Glasper Experience with Oliver Lake, Jimmy Sommers, and Pieces of A Dream at the Verizon Wireless Theater's indoor stage and The Bayou Place outdoor stage from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Spirit Music Sextet featuring Me'Shell NdegeOcello was previously scheduled to perform but withdrew last week.

In 2004, Audi significantly increased its corporate diversity efforts through a variety of activities in the Houston area. "We are dedicated to increasing awareness for the Audi brand in this multicultural area through events like the Audi Black Enterprise Jazz Festival," stated Mary Ann Wilson, Audi's communications manager. Several Audi vehicles will be on display throughout the day for audiences to experience at their leisure. Knowledgeable product specialists will be onsite to answer consumer questions and offer guests an opportunity to preview the all-new 2005 A6 and the A8 L W12 which will arrive in showrooms this November and December respectively.
