Amicus at Labour Party Conference
LONDON, September 24 -- At this year's Labour Party Conference Amicus will be highlighting the plight of manufacturing, the predicament of workers about to lose their pensions, maintaining the UK's vital defence capability and the problem of bullying and harassment in the workplace.

Jaguar workers lobby Ministers to act to prevent 1,150 job cuts and the effective closure of the Browns Lane plant in Coventry. Workers will be available to interview or photograph during the course of the day.

Pensioners from Turner and Newall, Allied Steel and Wire (ASW) and United Engineering Forgings (UEF) are demonstrate over pension losses.
