SSA Global Appoints Cory A. Eaves as Chief Technology Officer
CHICAGO--Sept. 23, 2004--SSA Global(TM), a leading provider of extended enterprise solutions and services, today announced that it has named Cory A. Eaves, chief technology officer of the company, effective immediately. Eaves will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle of the company's extended enterprise solutions, including architecture, solutions management, research, development, and third-party technology.Eaves has been with SSA Global since its acquisition of Infinium in 2002 and has held a number of increasingly important roles in the development of SSA Global's product direction strategy of convergence and modernization and has spearheaded the integration of strategic extension solution initiatives. In his new role, Eaves will report directly to Mike Greenough, chairman, president, and CEO of SSA Global.

Cory Eaves brings more than 15 years experience in software and technology in the enterprise applications market. Prior to joining SSA Global, Eaves held product and technology positions at several leading technology companies, including Infinium Software, Lycos, and Emerson Electric.
