Thrifty Car Rental Gives THRIFTY.com Visitors a Chance to Win 'Football Giveaway or Getaway'

TULSA, Okla., Sept. 23 -- Are you a football fanatic or a football "forget about it?" Love it or leave it, football is an option for customers who enter Thrifty Car Rental's "Football Giveaway or Getaway" sweepstakes. One Grand Prize winner will receive airfare for four and their choice of either four general admission tickets to a major college football Bowl game or four passes to a luxurious day spa.

With the sweepstakes, visitors to http://www.thrifty.com/ have the opportunity to register online to win a prize package that includes round-trip air travel for four, hotel accommodations for up to four persons, double occupancy, for three nights and a free car rental for up to four days for a full-size vehicle or minivan.

The sweepstakes is effective from Sept. 15, 2004 through Nov. 30, 2004. One winner will be selected from all eligible entries.

No purchase is required to enter the sweepstakes, but the winner must be at least 21, a U.S. resident and have a valid U.S. driver's license. The winner must be able to meet standard car rental qualifications and requirements.

All taxes, fuel, optional insurance coverage and any other incidental charges are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner must possess a credit card in their own name. All travel dates and accommodations are subject to availability and blackout periods may apply. The "Bowl Trip" must be taken in conjunction with the designated bowl game date. The "Spa Trip" travel must be taken by March 1, 2005. Entries are limited to one per person.
