The rally will last for approximately one hour. -- WHERE: The John S. Knight Conference Center, 77 Mill Street, Akron Ohio. (On the sidewalk in front of the main entrance on Mill Street.) -- WHY: To highlight Bridgestone/Firestone's refusal to negotiate a new contract with over 6,000 USWA-represented workers at eight plants across the country. Key issues include the company's refusal to make capital investments in our plants and quality tire production.
