Summit Executes Agreement with Taiwan Group
LONGVIEW, Texas, Sept. 21 -- Summit Environmental Corporation, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: SEVT) has recently executed a distributorship agreement with Visa Enterprises Limited of Taiwan.
Management met with the representative of Visa from Taiwan on September 8, 2004 at the Pinal Air Base in Marana, Arizona. Several demonstrations were conducted by the staff and by crews from Western Fire utilizing FlameOut(R) with a Compressed Air Foam System from the Odin Foam Division of WS Darley Company. Successful extinguishing of fuel fires and magnesium car engine blocks using FlameOut(R) led to the completion of the negotiations.
"We have been providing FlameOut(R) to the Odin Foam Division of Darley since last March when we first discussed the possibility of using FlameOut(R) in the Odin CAF system. Our product gives the Odin CAF system the capability of only having to have one fire chemical versus two," states Keith Parker, CEO.
"Compressed Air Foam systems have two tanks, one for a class A agent and the second for a class B. The single tank idea, which is possible with FlameOut(R) because it is dually listed with UL, allows for a CAF system to be made with only one tank, one set of valves, one proportioner and one product, versus the dual setup currently being used," states Bob Krempasky at Western Fire.
The Visa Group is headed by Mr. Wilson Fan. Mr. Fan formerly was the director of purchasing for fire suppression equipment and products for the Nuclear Power Plant of Taiwan. Mr. Fan ordered two pallets of FlameOut(R) to be used with an Odin CAF system being purchased for immediate delivery to Taiwan.
Summit and Darley are working jointly through Western Fire on the placement of FlameOut(R) and FirePower(TM) in the Darley Products catalogs that go to every fire department in the United States and those in twenty- three foreign countries.
