Caliber Collision Centers Awarded 2004 Route 66 Rendezvous Poker Run Loving Cup Trophy; Caliber Wins Poker Run Trophy for the Fifth Year in a Row

IRVINE, Calif.--Sept. 20, 2004--Caliber Collision Centers, an Irvine, Calif.-based operator of high-quality collision repair facilities in California and Texas, has been awarded the San Bernardino Route 66 Rendezvous Poker Run 2004 Loving Cup trophy for the fifth year in a row.

"It's quite an honor to have won the Poker Run trophy for the fifth consecutive year," said Chuck Owens, Caliber's Inland Empire regional manager. "The Route 66 event and specifically the Poker Run Party is an exciting event for Caliber Collision Centers. Every year we look forward to throwing a huge party for all the Poker Run contestants and local car enthusiasts in the community. We're thrilled to join forces with local vendors and merchants to provide great food, fun and prizes to all of those who attend the event."

Each year the Route 66 Rendezvous draws over 500,000 car enthusiasts and over 2,400 classic vehicles to the 4-day and 3-night classic car show that encompasses a 35-block area where classics, muscle cars, hot rods and trucks park and cruise the downtown streets of San Bernardino. The 4-day event also includes a Golf Tournament, the Firestone Burnout & Flame Throwing Contest, Open Header Cruise & Contest, Live Entertainment, Celebrities, Awards and Exhibits.

One of the most popular activities held at the Rendezvous is the annual San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino Poker Run. The Poker Run is a combination of a navigation rally and poker game that attracted more than 200 participants this year. The object is to cruise through the streets of greater San Bernardino, stopping at predetermined local businesses participating in the poker run. At selected stops, contestants pick a playing card with the objective being to create the best winning poker hand out of five cards. The contestant with the best poker hand at the end of the contest wins $500 cash. The favorite Poker Run stop, as voted by the participants, is presented with a traveling trophy sponsored by San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino.

Founded in 1991, with headquarters in Irvine, Caliber Collision Centers operates high-quality collision repair facilities in California and Texas. Caliber currently owns and operates 68 facilities and plans to continue acquiring, developing and integrating high-volume collision repair centers while providing innovative collision repair solutions and automobile physical damage claims support.
