FreedomRoads, the nation's largest retailer with revenues of more than $1 billion, today announced that it will launch a new RV discount accessory store branded FreedomExpress.
FreedomRoads will license its subsidiaries in specific markets to use the brand, and it will be made available to non-FreedomRoads dealers in markets where the company has neither a rolling stock retail presence nor plans to establish such a presence. The concept for FreedomExpress is that of a hybrid parts and accessory store that ranges from 2,000 to 5,000 sq. ft. and carries only the industry's fastest moving SKU's. FreedomExpress stores will fit into existing parts and accessory departments without the need for construction-- but with a modified look and feel-- making integrating them efficient, rapid and inexpensive. The stores will focus on grab-and-bag items that are convenient and necessary for RVers on the go. The intention of is to increase the level of convenience to consumers while maintaining a volume discount pricing model. This nationally branded express concept will be the first of its kind in the industry.
According to FreedomRoads Chairman and CEO Marcus Lemonis, "Our dealerships are excited about the FreedomExpress opportunity because it offers one additional level of service to the local and traveling consumer, keeping our existing and future customers serviced and coming back to our locations. That's always a central goal, and this will help to accomplish that," he commented. Customers nationwide will also be able to access these high quality discount RV products through a nationwide 800 number ordering system as well as through a comprehensive website. Both of these methods will come with the option of next day delivery. A Zero percent, same as cash credit card which can be used at all locations, will be available to qualified repeat consumers for purchases of FreedomExpress carried merchandise.
A sampling of the 23 markets where FreedomExpress will open include Bartow, FL; Columbia, SC; Akron, OH; Chicago, IL; Syracuse, NY; Harrisburg, PA; Houghton Lake and Gaylord, MI; Kaysville, UT; Bakersfield, CA and Lakewood, NJ. A comprehensive list of locations will be announced in coming weeks.
