SUNOCO TEAM ULTRA 94 - LAUNI TAKES TITLE

Press Release; September 20, 2004

Launi takes 2004 Bridgestone/FormulaCar Magazine F2000 series Championship
Sunoco's Team Ultra 94 driver Frank Launi takes 2004 title

TORONTO, ONTARIO "This feels great for our Sunoco Team Ultra 94. This is
the second year in a row a member of this team has won and I am glad to
have been the one to win it this year," Sunoco Team Ultra 94 driver Frank
Launi said of winning the 2004 Bridgestone/FormulaCar Magazine F2000 series
championship. Launi's three wins powered him to the title, but the wins
weren't what was on his mind going into the final weekend. "I knew going
into this weekend, car choice was going to be critical. I still had two
electives, and luckily the cars I drew were good enough for me to hold onto
the lead. I was worried when Juliana broke on Friday that could have been me.
"At the start of the year, we knew we had to uphold the values of this team
and I think we have done that for Sunoco, Ron Fellows and ASN. Without
them, none of us would have had this opportunity and I think they will be
happy with the performance all three of the Sunoco Ultra 94 drivers put in
this year."

Originally second in the championship belonged to Jamie Holtom, but a
revised scoring sheet with three drops instead of two sent Holtom back to
third overall. Holtom put everything on the line in the final race to move
up to second. He took the pole, win and fastest race lap in an effort to
secure the runner up spot. Holtom has two wins and never finished worse
than third in the final four races in his quest to secure second, but in
the final tally he was just a few points short.

Fourth in the championship was the third member of the Sunoco Ultra 94
team, Juliana Chiovitti. "I ended up with a perfect 50/50 split," Chiovitti
said. "I finished half the races and had mechanical problems in the other
half. I want to thank Ron [Fellows] and Sunoco for the opportunity to do this."

New members for the 2005 Sunoco Team Ultra 94 will be selected at the
Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship Evaluation Day on October 8, 2004.
