RouteOne Names New Sales Director

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Sept. 20 -- The team leader for Chase Automotive Finance in the development of DealerTrack has been named Director of Sales for RouteOne LLC. Craig Stokum, a 19-year veteran in financial management, product development, and sales and marketing, most of it in the automotive lending market, will be responsible for establishing and developing long term relationships with finance sources interested in integrating with RouteOne. RouteOne is the joint venture established by DaimlerChrysler Services, Ford Motor Credit Company, General Motors Acceptance Corporation and Toyota Financial Services to improve the vehicle financing process for automobile dealers and finance sources.

At Chase, Stokum led a team in creating the vision, design and strategic plan for the launch of DealerTrack. In addition to procuring equity investors for the business, including Wells Fargo, WFS Financial, and AmeriCredit Corp, Stokum held the position of Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Product Development at DealerTrack.

Prior to his work at DealerTrack, Stokum held various roles within Chase Automotive Finance, focusing on Finance and Product Management. During his tenure at Chase, he focused heavily on introducing web-based technology into the business by leading the development of a new information-based business system.

Stokum joins RouteOne having most recently served as Business Development and Strategic Alliances Manager for the newly merged Chase/Bank One small business unit of JPMorgan Chase.

"The addition of Craig Stokum to RouteOne further demonstrates our commitment to providing our dealer customers an open system, one that offers a wide variety of finance sources," said RouteOne CEO Mike Jurecki. "Craig brings a wealth of sales expertise that will help shape our strategies as we move forward and launch the system to our dealers. He has proven that he can drive strong business performance, and he makes an excellent addition to our management team."

"It's great to be able to contribute at this level in a company I believe is well positioned to lead the next wave of change in automotive finance," said Stokum. "RouteOne's origins certainly bring unique advantages to the business model, and I hope to contribute to its continuing success."

Stokum is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Syracuse University in 1985.
