Navicom Is Also a Proud New Member of the Homeland Security Industry Association (HSIA)

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Sept. 17 -- Automotive Capital Group Inc. announced today that its Navicom wireless GPS technology will be included in the inaugural issue of "Homeland Security - 2004," the official publication of the Homeland Security Industry and U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Navicom, a new member of the HSIA, is being invited to attend their bi-monthly meetings. It is during these meetings that all Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) from all 22 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agencies are distributed to the participating membership. HSIA membership includes many of the top Homeland Security and Defense Contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, General Dynamics, Lakeland Industries, Markland Technologies, ADT, and Caterpillar Inc.

Navicom wireless GPS (http://www.nowgps.com/) will have an editorial and advertising in the "Homeland Security - 2004" inaugural issue. This issue will be introduced by President George W. Bush and Secretary Tom Ridge. "Homeland Security - 2004" will provide an industry specific forum and reference guide. This is the Homeland Security Industry Association's Official Publication being published with the assistance of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

In conjunction with previously announced orders for wireless GPS and monthly services to the Inspector General's Office in Washington, DC, Navicom is working toward positioning itself for the opportunity of future orders from both the government and law enforcement agencies nationally. For this outstanding marketing event, Navicom was solicited by "Homeland Security - 2004" to become an editorialist and advertiser. This is a unique opportunity for Navicom to place its wireless GPS products and services in front of the people who make the important decisions with regard to national security.

The distribution for this journal includes the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), all Fortune 500 CEOs and CSOs, the top management of all Homeland Security and Defense Contractors (including major suppliers and consultants in the entire Homeland Security market sector), government policymakers, the Homeland Security Industry Association (HSIA). Special hardback editions will be presented to the president, the vice president, all White House senior staff congressmen, all of the U.S. Joint Command and the Homeland Security Committee (35,000 copies - estimated 2.8 readers per copy, reaching 98,000 industry specific professionals). This publication will be in accordance with Federal Guidelines and will provide information relating to the president's 2004 Budget for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security ($36.2 Billion, a 7.4% increase from 2003, and 64% increase from the 2002 budget).

The HSIA is a non-profit organization designated by a Congressional Caucus to be the liaison between private industry and the DHS. The HSIA is now in the process of creating the official publication for the DHS, titled "Homeland Security - 2004." This publication has a truly remarkable readership.

The creation of the DHS is the most significant transformation in the U.S. government since 1947 when Harry S. Truman merged the various branches of the U.S. Armed Forces into the Department of Defense to better coordinate the nation's defense against military threats.
