SmarTire Announces Supply Agreement With Aston Martin

Aston Martin to include Company's Tire Monitoring Systems on New Models

RICHMOND, BC, Sept. 15 -- SmarTire Systems Inc. (OTCBB: SMTR) announced today that Aston Martin, part of Ford Motor Company's Premier Automotive Group has been including the Company's tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) in the DB9 model that went into production earlier this year.

Aston Martin first selected SmarTire's innovative TPMS in November 2000 for its technically advanced V12 Vanquish. Based on the early success of this program, the relationship between Aston Martin and SmarTire has been expanded to include the Aston Martin DB9.
