ACDelco Air Conditioning Helps More Vehicle Owners Stay Cool When It's Hot

GRAND BLANC, MICH. September 1, 2004; ACDelco wants motorists to "keep their cool" when they are inside their vehicles, no matter how extreme the temperatures are outside.

To help drivers stay comfortable in warmer weather, ACDelco has added 1,685 additional quality replacement parts to its already expansive air conditioning product line for a total of over 9,500 new part numbers.

"One of the biggest problems vehicle owners face in the summer months is air-conditioning failure, which is likely the result of problems in the vehicle's cooling system," said John Munsell, Product Specialist for Air Conditioning, ACDelco. "Every part in ACDelco's air conditioning line adheres to stringent engineering standards and is designed and engineered to work in coordination with the entire vehicle cooling system."

ACDelco's air conditioning products expansion includes new and remanufactured compressors, condensers, evaporators, accumulators, switches, blower motors, radiator fan motors, seals, hoses and other various parts.

ACDelco's newly expanded air conditioning product line exceeds 90 percent coverage of applications for Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, GM and practically every other vehicle on the road today.

"This line expansion gives ACDelco 20 percent greater coverage of air conditioning parts for both GM and non-GM vehicles in the passenger car/light truck marketplace," Munsell said.

ACDelco is a global leader in automotive replacement parts and services offering products for virtually all vehicles. ACDelco is headquartered in Grand Blanc, Mich., and markets automotive replacement parts worldwide under its brand name.
