Carfax Signs Agreement with Larry H. Miller Auto Group; Carfax Vehicle History Reports Available to all 37 Dealership Locations

FAIRFAX, Va.--Aug. 2, 20046, 2004--Carfax, the most trusted provider of vehicle history information, has entered into an exclusive partnership with Larry H. Miller Automotive Group. Under this multi-year agreement, Carfax will serve as the select provider of vehicle history information to all 37 dealerships in six states.

Larry H. Miller Automotive Group, headquartered in Sandy, Utah, operates 37 dealerships in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Oregon and Utah. As a Carfax subscriber, each location will receive access to Carfax Vehicle History Reports, now backed by the Carfax Buyback Guarantee, and will be included in Carfax Hot Listings. Each report serves as a background check on a used car, providing information such as the number of owners, reported odometer readings, salvage and title information, and much more.

"Carfax Vehicle History Reports yield a net gain of approximately $300 more per vehicle sold, according to a recent study conducted by GE Fleet Services," said Bill Eager, vice president of the dealer business unit at Carfax. "We're excited to help the Larry H. Miller Auto Group integrate our reports into their sales process."

Carfax works with more than 25,000 dealerships and businesses nationwide. In addition, twelve Certified Pre-Owned programs mandate the use of Carfax reports.
