Hantz Group Sponsors Toledo ARCA RE/MAX event

TOLEDO OH (8-24-04) Hantz Group, a Detroit-based full-service financial consulting and investment firm, is proud to announce a partnership with the ARCA RE/MAX Series for race title sponsorship of the upcoming Friday night, September 3rd short-track show at Toledo Speedway.

The event will be recognized as the Hantz Group 200 and play before live national SPEED Channel television cameras at 8 pm ET.

"Toledo Speedway is one of America's truly great short tracks, and we're very excited to be providing live coverage of this important race in the chase for the 2004 ARCA RE/MAX Series championship," said Pete Richards, Coordinating Producer for SPEED Channel.

The inspiration for the sponsorship, Hantz Group's third motorsports endeavor, came from the huge success of the June ARCA RE/MAX Series race at Michigan International Speedway.

"We're excited about the opportunity to be involved in motorsports in the ARCA RE/MAX Series," said Aaron Thierry, Vice President, Hantz Financial. "We feel the RE/MAX Series is a great arena to promote the Hantz Group and our industry partners."

In addition, Hantz Group will be sponsoring Rochester Hills, Michigan rookie Mike Guerity's Dodge Intrepid in the race. Guerity will also enter the upcoming RE/MAX Series event at Chicagoland Speedway in the Hantz Group Dodge.

The Hantz Group 200 represents the 56th appearance of the ARCA RE/MAX Series at the renowned half-mile, high-banked paved Toledo, Ohio oval since 1963. The series, born in Toledo in 1953, ran on the now defunct Toledo Raceway Park dirt-oval prior to that beginning in '53.

The Hantz Group 200 will be presented by Jasper Engines & Transmissions and Belle Tire.

Spectator gates open for practice at 1 pm. Pork Pole Qualifying follows at 4 with an on-track autograph session at 6:15. LIVE coverage on PEE begins at 8.
