DataScan Technologies to Deploy High Tech Handheld Devices for Floorplan Audit Services; DAP Technologies Provides the Rugged Technology Solution

ATLANTA--Aug. 2, 20045, 2004--Atlanta-based DataScan Technologies LLC, a provider of wholesale floorplan finance accounting and risk management systems and services, today announced a major technology deployment for its Nationwide Audit Services (NAS) division. DataScan has chosen DAP Technologies to equip NAS field auditors with its all-terrain mobile Microflex CE8640 handheld device designed for collecting data in all weather conditions.

NAS is the floorplan audit services division of DataScan Technologies providing financial institutions with full-time, professional, coast-to-coast audit staff. Utilizing DAP's Microflex CE8640, NAS staff will gain efficiencies by reducing downtime due to equipment failure or breakage, and increase data entry speed.
