MOPAR'S HUBINETTE HAS ENJOYED ACTION-PACKED SEASON

Center Line, Mich. - Team Mopar's Samuel Hubinette has enjoyed quite a ride 
during the inaugural Formula D Series season this year. As the series point 
leader heading into Sunday's final event at Irwindale Speedway, Hubinette is 
riding high on the momentum of three straight Formula D Series victories. But as 
"The Crazy Swede" prepares, he is quick to turn the spotlight back on those who 
have helped him post this stellar season.

"I wouldn't have been in this situation without Mopar, NuFormz Racing and 
Lateral G Racing," Hubinette said. "All of the elements for this team came 
together so quickly before the first event, but we've been able to work well 
together as a team, and as a result, we've done extremely well. Mopar has provided 
outstanding support to us as a team, and their support has allowed me to focus 
on my role as a driver. I am extremely happy to have been a part of this team's 
efforts."

Hubinette is also pleased to have been a part of growing the sport of 
drifting throughout North America.

"This has been an overwhelming year," Hubinette said. "The support we've 
received from our sponsors, the series and most importantly, the fans has been 
unbelievable. I have been so blessed to have been a part of this period of growth 
for drifting, there isn't anyway I couldn't be pleased about this season's 
outcome."

While Hubinette is well aware of the seriousness of the growth the series has 
seen this season, he is all drift driver when it comes to heading into the 
Irwindale event. "We, drifting enthusiasts, get to do what we love, which is put 
on a show for the fans," he said.  "Drifting an awesome car like the Mopar 
Dodge Viper at high speeds in front of thousands of people…what a rush! I'm 
really looking forward to drifting at Irwindale Speedway this weekend on one of 
the best courses for speed, angle and cutting tandem drifting action. How cool 
is that?!"
