FWD:Congratulations to Randy Ruhlman (article fromwww.theracesite.com)

Hi --

I wanted to forward you this exerpt below from an online article that
was sent to me. I thought you might like to see it.

Also there is an interesting poll on the Trans-Am website about
the Driver's Championship being so close. You can go online there at
http://www.trans-amseries.com and vote for Randy to win the Drivers'
Championship. Voting is close between Randy and Tommy Kendall, so check
it out!!

The team is going testing in Omaha on Friday and Saturday before the
Sept 11th Laguna Seca race. They are going to work on a couple of
things they hope will make the Corvette a bit more competitive with that
Rocketsports Jaguar. It will be an interesting race for the Championship.

Congratulations to Randy Ruhlman

In a world dominated by Jaguars Derhaag Motorsports has gamely made
things interesting for Chevy fans in the Trans-Am Series. Randy Ruhlman,
who drives the
#49 Preformed Products/Coyote Closures Corvette out of the Derhaag
stable has been the most consistent Corvette in the Trans-Am field by
far and with two races
remaining is still in the hunt for the driver's championship.

At the Trans-Am Series race at Road America recently Randy Ruhlman won
his first pole position and the following weekend in Denver Randy
rallied from a first
lap excursion which dropped his Corvette to last place and he finished
5th.

Derhaag also fielded his familiar #40 Corvette for Ron Fellows and
Johnny Miller in past four Trans-Am events with reasonable success as
Miller recorded a 2nd
in Denver and a 5th at Road America while Fellows finished 6th at
Trois-Rivieres and 3rd in Toronto.

Randy Ruhlman finished 2nd at Road America and Toronto, 4th at
Trois-Rivieres and a 5th at Denver and has recorded six straight top 5
finishes. In all cases
except Denver where he had help getting into last place on lap one,
Ruhlman beat Fellows and Miller two pretty good road racers.

If Ruhlman isn't the most improved Trans-Am driver this season at the
very least the #49 Ruhlman/Derhaag/Corvette has to be the most improved package.
