Fleetwood RV Announces Licensing Agreement With NASCAR

NASCAR-Licensed Fleetwood RV Products Will Launch in Fall 2004

RIVERSIDE, Calif., Aug. 21 -- Fleetwood RV, one of the nation's leading manufacturers of recreational vehicles, announced today a new license agreement with the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR), that allows Fleetwood to develop custom-designed NASCAR-licensed RV products.

NASCAR fans are known to be strong outdoor enthusiasts. Compared to non-fans, they are more likely to visit campgrounds and travel by recreational vehicles, participate in outdoor activities, and own multiple types of outdoor gear, according to the Simmons National Consumer Survey. When NASCAR fans stay at a private or public campground, they are twice as likely to travel by recreational vehicle, according to the Simmons research.

Fleetwood RV will unveil all of its new NASCAR-licensed products during the October 16, 2004, race weekend at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, NC, as well as the California RV Show in Pomona, CA October 15 - 24, 2004.
