Michael Paul Appointed Director of Quality for S-Y Systems Technologies America, LLC

DEARBORN, Mich.--Aug. 2, 20040, 2004--Michael Paul was appointed Director of Quality for S-Y Systems Technologies America, LLC, a Siemens VDO Automotive (AG) and Yazaki Corporation joint venture company supplying electrical and electronic distribution systems, announced Robert Crumley, president.

Paul was formerly a Program Manager at S-Y Systems Technologies America, overseeing the successful launch of the new Ford F150 truck program in all three Ford production locations. Prior to that, he worked for Yazaki Corporation as a Program Manager for Ford European platforms including Contour and Mazda 6 in Japan. He was also in production engineering at Yazaki and was instrumental in launching the company's Belgium operations.

"As Director of Quality, Paul oversees quality control for engineering, reliability and manufacturing planning functions, working closely and on many levels with our customer Ford Motor Company. He is also responsible for the procedures and measurements for our metric driven business operating system. His extensive knowledge and global understanding of the operating systems of our primary customer will be of considerable benefit to our organization." noted Crumley.

Paul is a graduate of Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan with a bachelor of applied science degree and a technical degree in electronic engineering from the National Institute of Technology. He resides with wife Jill and four children in Livonia.
