SiriCOMM Provides Update on Network Roll Out

Company Readies to Launch Service Offering

JOPLIN, Mo., Aug. 19 -- SiriCOMM, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: SIRC) , a nationwide broadband wireless software and network company serving the commercial transportation industry and government market, has begun the installation of SiriCOMM Wi-Fi Hot Spots at Pilot Travel Centers nationwide. Installations at all 255 locations are scheduled for completion during the 3rd quarter of 2004. SiriCOMM's low-cost broadband network will provide cost-efficient fleet management solutions for trucking companies as well as wireless ISP service for the general public at these locations. Upon completing the Pilot installations, the Company will begin its Internet Service Provider (ISP) offering. SiriCOMM's ISP will be sold on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis.

In July 2004, the Company announced a strategic partnership with Pilot Travel Centers, LLC. Subsequently, SiriCOMM and its service partner, ViaSat, Inc., successfully conducted a series of test installations designed to ensure coverage and operational effectiveness at each of Pilot's store configurations.

Kory Dillman, SiriCOMM executive vice president, said, "Our goal is to install the network as expeditiously as possible, including a guarantee to Pilot that the process in no way will hinder truck stop operations. The test site installations have proven that we can deliver on that promise. We can now move forward at a rapid pace, while ensuring high-quality work."

SiriCOMM plans to install over 400 hot spots during 2004, focusing on high-traffic locations that are frequented by truck drivers. In addition to Pilot Travel Centers, SiriCOMM's long range plans include network installations at other travel centers, shipping facilities, state-run rest area and weigh station facilities, and truck company terminals.
