Sigmetrix, LLC, a software integration and strategic software partner with PTC since 1990 and the preferred supplier of tolerance analysis software for Pro/ENGINEER customers, announced the release of CETOL 6 Sigma Version 7.1, providing interoperability with PTC's newly introduced Pro/ENGINEER(R) Wildfire(TM) 2.0.

CETOL Version 7.1 has significant customer driven enhancements allowing the CETOL user to develop more comprehensive tolerance analysis models with less effort while providing greater understanding of how variation affects the key characteristics of their design. Other enhancements include Monte Carlo and derivative based solvers, comprehensive support for family tables, improved visualization in Pro/ENGINEER, real time updates to the degree of freedom state, and more user preference controls.

Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0 is the newest version of PTC's product design and development solution. Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0 offers ASME Y14.41 compliant 3D drawing capability incorporated directly into the core product and interoperability with all major CAD systems including UGS PLM I-DEAS(R), CATIA(R) V5 and UG NX. Additionally, this version delivers major improvements in software usability by extending the Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire User Model to sheet metal, simulation and other areas of the solution.
