Kevin McGlensey, Former Senior Executive of Invensys and Triconex, Named President of ORYXE Energy International
IRVINE, Calif.--Aug. 1, 20048, 2004--ORYXE Energy International announced today that Kevin McGlensey, a chemical engineer who has served as president of several well-known companies in the energy industry, has been named President and Chief Marketing Officer of ORYXE Energy, a progressive energy technology company based in Irvine.ORYXE Energy develops and markets proprietary fuel additives for diesel, gasoline, and heavy distillates to enable those fuels to burn cleaner, thus reducing toxic environmental emissions.

Prior to joining ORYXE Energy in 2003, McGlensey was President of Invensys Process Automation Products, a group of the United Kingdom's largest diversified engineering company with revenues exceeding $13 billion. He was also President of Triconex Corporation, an Invensys company which is the leading supplier of fault tolerant safety systems for the hydrocarbon processing industry. In that position, he developed key relationships with customers such as Shell, ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, Saudi Aramco, and ChevronTexaco.
McGlensey received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA.
Recently, ORYXE Energy has made several announcements regarding the company's growth and milestones. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality selected ORYXE Energy to receive a New Technology Research and Development Program grant. Lee C. Tashjian, vice president of corporate communications for Fluor Corp., was recently elected to the Board of Directors. Michael Redemer, formerly venture executive for ChevronTexaco Technology Ventures, as well as a former manager of the California Air Resources Board, was named Executive Vice President of the company. Redemer also was elected to the company's Board of Directors.
