Secretary of the Interior Gale Norton to Visit Monaco Coach Corporation's Recreational Vehicle Plant in Coburg, Oregon

Monaco Coach Is a Charter Partner of the U.S. Department of the Interior's Take Pride in America Program

COBURG, Ore., Aug. 18 -- Monaco Coach Corporation announced today that on Thursday, August 19, Secretary of the Interior Gale Norton will visit its Coburg, Oregon, manufacturing facilities. The Secretary will tour the plant and speak to Monaco employees about the Take Pride in America program and its initiative to generate stewardship of the nation's 800 million acres of public recreational lands by volunteers.

Monaco Coach is a Charter Partner of Take Pride in America, a national partnership that aims to seek, support, and recognize volunteers who work to improve public parks, forests, grasslands and wildlife refuges, as well as cultural and historic sites, local playgrounds and other recreation areas. The program, established by the U.S. Department of the Interior, also can energize national and local resource and recreation needs.
