Nation's Largest RV Retailer, FreedomRoads, Announces Acquisition of Gary's Sports and RV Center; Move Establishes Company in New England Market

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill.--Aug. 1, 20047, 2004--FreedomRoads, LLC., the nation's largest recreational vehicle retailer, today announced the acquisition of Gary's Sports and RV Center. The move establishes FreedomRoads in a key New England Market.

According to Marcus Lemonis, Co-Founder, President and CEO of FreedomRoads, "The acquisition of Gary's is an important one for us in that it puts us in the middle of the very active New England market with a dealership that is well equipped to go to the next level with the company," he said.

Northeast Regional President and Co-Founder Mark Meyer added, "They run an excellent operation and manage their bottom line carefully. This has made the dealership successful and able to expand and improve their facilities. The new facility is magnificent and one of the most outstanding in the country. It reflects on their vision of where RV retailing is going which is toward higher quality customer service. It's this kind of orientation that FreedomRoads seeks in its dealers and what makes Gary's a great fit for us."

Mark Calzone, VP of Finance for Meyers Super Stores commented, "Gary's is a tremendous operation and the dominant RV store in New England. They have a strong positive reputation and great potential for growth. This is our third acquisition in the northeast and though we have more to do in the region to cover the market in terms of mass and getting into eastern New York, this is an important step for us and provides an excellent foothold in New England."

Founded in 1986 in Chichester, New Hampshire, Gary's Sports and RV Center grew to become one of New England's premiere RV dealerships. In early 2004 Gary's expanded beyond its Chichester location, opening a second dealership in North Hampton, New Hampshire. The main dealership in Chichester recently underwent a site expansion with a new, state-of-the art 42,000 square foot facility with a large showroom, offices, parts store and service area.

According to Gary's founder Gary Depalma, "Our new facility is about providing comfort and the right environment to our customers and associates. We have even air-conditioned the service area for our techs and they really appreciate it. It just part of our philosophy of constantly going to the next level. That's why we decided to join FreedomRoads," he stressed. "The whole industry is going to be lifted by this. My hat is off to the leadership, they joined with the best dealers who know how run this business, and we're all on the same page in terms of how to treat our associates, service our customers and develop markets. This can't help but be successful."
