Spatial Appoints Thomas `Tim' Bailey as CAA V5 Business Unit Manager

WESTMINSTER, Colo.--Aug. 1, 20046, 2004--Spatial Corp., a Dassault Systemes company (Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA) and market-leading provider of 3D subsystems, today announced that Tim Bailey has been appointed Component Application Architecture (CAA) V5 Business Unit Manager. Reporting directly to Keith Mountain, President and Chief Operating Officer, Spatial, Mr. Bailey has accepted the charter of expanding the business opportunities for CAA V5, the development framework for Dassault Systemes Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. Mr. Bailey will work to increase the number of Spatial CAA V5 Adopters and the revenue generated by Adopters, and in doing so enhance the Dassault Systemes PLM Ecosystem for customers.
