Hurricane Charley Forces Postponement of Sponge Absorbant 250

South Boston, VA - After sitting through persistant rain all morning and the forecast of heavy rain throughout the day from Hurricane Charley, USAR and South Boston Speedway has decided to postpone the Sponge Absorbant 250 until Sunday afternoon. The rescheduled start time for the Sponge Absorbant 250 will be 1:45 p.m. with the local Late Model and Allison Legacy Series races to immediately follow.
