Cary B. Wood Joins Citation as Group VP - Light Metals & Machining Group
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Aug. 13, 2004 -- Citation Corporation ("Citation") announced today that it has named Cary B. Wood as the Group Vice President of its Light Metals & Machining Group. Wood holds both a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Purdue University and a Master's degree in Operational Management from Lawrence University. He comes to Citation after a long and successful career involving engineering, manufacturing, and executive assignments in major US and international organizations.

Wood began his career with General Motors, following that with expanded roles at UT Automotive, Elkay Manufacturing, and Formica, and brings a wealth of strategic and operational experience to Citation. He will assume responsibility for Citation's Light Metal's Group, with manufacturing facilities located in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Alabama. Mr. Wood will be headquartered in Citation's Novi, Michigan offices.
