KVH TracVision Systems & Outlaw Conversions Add Horsepower to Mobile Entertainment
MIDDLETOWN, R.I.--Aug. 1, 20041, 2004--TracVision Satellite TV Antennas Becoming an Integral Part of Custom Living Quarters in Premier Horse Trailers |
Outlaw Conversions, one of the country's premier customizers of horse trailers, is now topping off its premier mobile living quarters with award-winning TracVision(R) satellite TV antennas from KVH Industries, Inc., . Outlaw Conversions uses a broad selection of TracVision antennas for its horse trailers, including the in-motion TracVision L3 and TracVision LF systems, the stationary, automatic TracVision S3 and TracVision SF antennas, and the new, ultra low-profile TracVision A5, allowing the owners, riders, and trainers to travel in the same luxury afforded to their world-class horses. While horse trailers are designed to ensure each animal's health and well-being, Outlaw Conversions customizes the trailer shells to make certain that the people who work with these animals also enjoy the trip. The fully equipped living quarters that Outlaw Conversions builds are equipped with such amenities as fully stocked kitchens, king-sized beds, leather sofas, surround sound stereos, and KVH's TracVision satellite TV antennas.
The number of satellite TV-equipped horse trailers has continued to grow, according to David Johnson, Outlaw Conversion's service manager. "We're seeing increasing demand among our customers for two reasons. In our market, our customers are not near major cities when they are attending equine events. Because of that, they aren't getting good broadcast TV reception. But with satellite TV, the reception is exceptional. The other reason for increasing demand is because of the KVH TracVision antennas. They are trouble-free systems that are easy to install and use. Plus, the support from KVH is phenomenal."
Outlaw Conversion's customers can choose from three versatile KVH satellite solutions. The award-winning TracVision A5 uses KVH's hybrid phased array antenna technology to create a 5-inch high in-motion satellite TV system that offers in-motion reception of DIRECTV(R) satellite TV programming. TracVision A5 offers outstanding in-motion tracking as well as a single cable installation, a rotary joint design that eliminates the need for interruptions while the cable unwraps, and mounts directly to the roof of the trailer. The TracVision A5 offers a sleek, streamlined design that is especially practical for situations where the trailer has limited clearance overhead.
The 14-inch high TracVision L3/S3 and LF/SF model antennas provide access digital TV programming and commercial-free music via the DIRECTV, DISH Network(TM), and ExpressVu services. In addition to satellite TV, the Digital Video Broadcast (DVB(R))-compatible TracVision L3 and TracVision S3 systems can also provide access to high-speed Internet service via KVH's TracNet(TM) 2.0 Mobile High-speed Internet System.
