Nation's Largest RV Retailer, FreedomRoads, Acquires Grumbine's RV Center; Harrisburg, PA RV Dealer the Latest to Join Rapidly Growing Retailer

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill.--Aug. 9, 2004--FreedomRoads, LLC, the nation's largest recreational vehicle retailer, today announced the acquisition of Grumbine's RV Center. The Harrisburg, Pennsylvania RV dealer is the latest to join the rapidly growing retailer whose number stands at forty-four.

According to Grumbine's General Manager Keith Grumbine, "We felt that the RV industry was prime for consolidation for some time, and becoming a FreedomRoads dealer made sense to us. Being part of a large company will give us buying power, enhanced brand recognition and a nationwide dealer service chain. These are things we simply could not have as an independent dealer."

Grumbine's RV Center was founded in 1971 by Richard and Linda Grumbine whose experiences buying an RV for their own recreational use led them to the conclusion that they could provide better customer service to the public than what they were accustomed to. They opened their own dealerships and proceeded to build strong business based upon the principals of exceptional customer service. Richard will retire with the transition of the company to FreedomRoads turning over leadership of the dealership to his son Keith Grumbine. A full service dealership, Grumbine's RV Center has 15 service bays and is situated on ten acres outside of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
