Amerityre Names New CFO and Sales & Marketing Manager

BOULDER CITY, Nev., Aug. 6, 2004 -- Amerityre Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: AMTY) , announced that Anders A. Suarez has been appointed by its board of directors to serve as the Company's chief financial officer. Mr. Suarez had been serving as the Company's financial systems administrator since October 2003. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Suarez worked as a senior consultant/project manager for ePartners, Inc., Phoenix, Arizona, a leading provider of Microsoft-based business solutions for middle market companies. Prior to joining ePartners, Mr. Suarez was corporate controller for Park Plaza International, LLC, Scottsdale, Arizona. He received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Arizona, Tucson in 1995, and his M.B.A. from Thunderbird -- The American Graduate School of International Management, Glendale, Arizona in 1996.

Amerityre also named Craig T. Hooks as the Company's Sales & Marketing Manager. Mr. Hooks has 15 years of sales and marketing experience and comes to Amerityre from Enidine, Inc., Irvine, California, an equipment automation technology company. Mr. Hooks served as Enidine's Western Regional Sales Manager for the past two years. Prior to joining Enidine, from 1999 to 2002, Mr. Hooks served as the Western Regional Sales Manager for Intelligent Motion Systems, Mission Viejo, California, also involved in equipment automation. Mr. Hooks received a B.A. in Communications from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio in 1988.
