AGT ADDS VIRGINIA INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY TO SCHEDULE, LABOR DAY WEEKEND SPECTACULAR

Wilton, CT- The American GT Challenge today announced the addition of Virginia International Raceway to the series' 2004 schedule. The event over Labor Day will be held September 3-5 at the historic facility.

"We are very pleased to be asked by VIR to join the event," said Woodson Duncan, President of the American GT Challenge. "Cal Frye and his staff are preparing a terrific schedule for the spectators. Our teams are excited about the weekend."

The AGT series will compete using the Full Course, measuring 3.27 miles in length. Along the course drivers will contend with such corners as Roller Coaster, Climbing Esses, Oak Tree and many others. A fifty minute event will be conducted by the AGT with a full field of entries.

"I am really anticipating our visit to VIR," Todd Benne, Director of Operations for the AGT commented. "The track is a true test of man and machine. With all of the varying corner styles and the incredibly fast Back Straight, our drivers will certainly put on a show for the fans."

"The invitation by VIR to be added to the event schedule proves that our concept is enticing to tracks and promoters. We continue to receive offers to 'come to town' ," said Duncan.

The AGT will compete at VIR in September then conclude its 2004 season with a visit to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. For more information on VIR and its events, visit virclub.com.
