Comergent President and CEO Jean Kovacs to Speak at Aftermarket eForum 2004

Comergent Executive to Deliver Keynote Address on Automotive Aftermarket E-Business

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Aug. 3 -- Comergent Technologies(R), Inc., the leading provider of enterprise e-commerce solutions, today announced that president and CEO Jean Kovacs will speak at Aftermarket eForum(TM) 2004 in Chicago, Illinois on August 4, 2004.

Kovacs will deliver a keynote address entitled, "Aftermarket E-Business: Where are we? Where are we going? How do we get there?" The presentation assesses the state of e-business in the automotive aftermarket industry and provides key solution guide posts for realizing benefit from an e-business initiative. Comergent Vice President of Industry Programs, Ed Heon, will also speak on a separate panel entitled, "The T.E.S.T Program-Technology Enabled Standards-Based Trading" on August 3, 2004.
