--SORL Auto Parts, Inc. is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of automotive air brake valves and hydraulic brake valves primarily for the commercial vehicles market, such as trucks, vans and buses, in the People's Republic of China (PRC). The Company distributes products both in China and internationally under SORL trademarks. The Company's product range includes 36 types of brake valves with over 800 different specifications. In 2003, SORL derived 56% of its revenue from sales of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) products to 42 vehicle manufacturers in China, which covers almost all of China's truck manufacturers. Two of SORL's largest customers, First Auto Group, and Dongfeng Automobile, Ltd., are among the five largest automobile manufacturers in China and account for about 30% of total car sales in China. Aftermarket sales are channeled through 30 independent sales centers that sell exclusively SORL and Ruili Group products to over 800 distributors. The Company has two international sales centers in Australia and Dubai, with additional new offices slated for opening in the U.S. and other locations in the near future.
