Chrysler Group Announces Manufacturing Project with Innovative Business Strategy

        Celebration with company executives, government officials
                and union officials scheduled for August 3

WHAT: In December 2003, Chrysler Group and the UAW signed an unprecedented agreement for the Toledo (Ohio) Assembly Complex that gives supplier partners an opportunity to own significant areas of the assembly process. Tom LaSorda, Chrysler Group Chief Operating Officer, will provide more detail on the plans for the new manufacturing project.
