Society of Automotive Analysts Presents FINBARR O'NEILL on 'What's in Store at Mitsubishi Motors?' at August 10 Breakfast Meeting
ANN ARBOR, Mich., July 30 -- Finbarr O'Neill, Chairman and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) will be the featured speaker at the Society of Automotive Analysts' next Networking Breakfast on Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at the Somerset Inn in Troy, Michigan.
Mitsubishi Motors in Japan recently received a $4.5 billion investment for its global operations. What does this mean for the company's North American organization and operations?
Mr. O'Neill will provide an overview of MMNA's business plans, current turnaround strategies, and long-term brand-building efforts.
The Best-Backed Cars in the World -- MMNA recently announced the addition of a five-year/60,000 mile "bumper-to-bumper" new vehicle limited warranty that provides an industry-leading offer for its customers - the "best-backed car" 10-year/100,000 mile limited powertrain warranty, three-year/45,000 mile free maintenance policy and five-year/60,000 mile "bumper-to-bumper" limited warranty.
Given O'Neill's long track record in the industry - highlighted by 18 years at Hyundai Motor America, where he is widely credited with orchestrating a dramatic corporate turnaround following his promotion to president and CEO in 1998 - Mitsubishi's story is sure to resonate with analysts, suppliers, dealers, OEM's and anyone who follows America's largest manufacturing industry.
The event will commence at 7:00am with a networking breakfast, with O'Neill scheduled to speak at 8:00am. As always, a Q&A session will follow, with the program to conclude by 9:30am.
